My Review:

Alana felt sad being back at school after getting out of jail for using the Book of Spells and Logan missing. The Book of Spells is dark magic and is forbidden. All of her friends are afraid of her now. No one stopped by to welcome her home. I think she is also missing Logan she is in love with him and feels like it is her fault that he is missing. In ways I guess it is but he chose to go into the book and he pushed her out of the way and jumped into the door surrounded by fire. Is Logan dead? Did he burn alive? Or has he been taken by the book? Can Alana save him? Can she get him out of the book? Can she find him and beat the book? Is Alana stronger than the book?

How can everyone treat Alana so different? Why do they not believe she needs them to fight the book? The "Book of Spells". Yes the book is the most powerful book created. Who created it? Who is Cafaf? Did he create it? Why can't they believe and know she is the same person as before? Yes she was using dark magic and it is forbidden. But has it really changed who she is? Can't they believe that she still cares about people and needs friends too? What about Wyatt he claimed to love her too. How can he really love her and not back her up? Are they that afraid of the book? I think Wyatt will come around to her side and help her get Logan back. I don't think Logan is dead. The book is lying to her to get her to help it or him. Or maybe it is just using Logan to get her help. Maybe the book took Logan out of the picture or out of the way. Because it knows she loves him so much and would put him before the book. The book needs her power. Why does it need her power?

Why is Alana being friends with these girls? Is the book really controlling her? Is she changing because of the book? Does she just need them to fight the book? Like make the book think she is starting to come around to its side so that she can beat it? How powerful is Alana? How strong is her magic?

“The mighty Book of Spells has her fooled, thinking there is a spell that will bring back Logan. Alana feels this is her only link left to him and his return. The Realm of Many Doors didn’t work. I've given her one chance and she failed, but Mother felt that she deserved one more.”

So that is why she is still holding onto the book. And not everyone is against her. The Headmaster is going to help her. He has sent for a powerful witch Sara to help Alana. Sara is a strong witch I guess sent with special permission from the Trusted Zone. What is the Trusted Zone? The witch's council? The book is using Alana.

So Sara knows dark magic. She is very powerful. Is she going to help Alana or hurt her? My guess is she will to do what she wants or have too to get her way. Or maybe get the job done.

I have truly enjoyed reading the Alana Weatherbee series. I loved the dark magic and the fact that they had to use wands for the magic to work that was cool. If you like magic and witches then I think you just may enjoy the Alana Weatherbee series.
